When it comes to your online presence having a website that not only looks great but works just as well is essential to your business; at Custom Websites to Go we understand that and with web design we are able to tai- lor our services to your company’s unique requirements and budget to help your website do just that.
Our services give you the option to create a website completely from scratch or choose from one of our templates to build one that is perfect for your business, either way the website will look and work great. For your website you can either choose to create your site with a back-end content management system which would give you the option make regular changes to text and visuals on your website without having to learn a com- plicated computer language to do it, or we can build one without a content management system if you have no desire to update your site.
Whichever management system you choose for your site we strongly believe that you should stay with us because you are happy with our ser- vice, not because we’re holding your website hostage, which is why we use open-source technology, so if you do decide to leave us any one of thou- sands open-source designers worldwide can access your site just as easily.
Once you decide on a website design and a management system that works for your business our web-development and web-design teams can start on the multi-step process of creating your unique website:
The first step for a custom website is evaluating your business by visiting with you about your vision and point of difference for the business. We also look at your current website, if you have one, your competitor’s websites and any websites you like or ideas you have about what you want your website to look and act like.
Next, we create mockups of the website for you to view and use cases that describe the usability or flow of the user interaction with the website, so you can have an idea of how it will work for your customers; you can then gives feedback until the final use cases and screens are just what you envisioned.
Then the development begins. For a smaller, simpler website, the development is done first and then you can have a chance to look at the website when complete and before we put it live on the internet.
Once you approve of the final website, we’ll put live!
Note: For larger websites the project is broken into several 2 week incremental changes, instead of everything occurring at once, so that you have the chance to approve as the site is being built. The purpose of this is to keep you in the loop while the site is being built for quality assurance.
